The VDM Connection Server cannot distinguish between original and cloned virtual machines.
Solution
Do not clone a virtual machine that is linked to an individual desktop, because the broker will not be able to reconfigure the resulting cloned virtual machine. When a virtual machine is linked to an individual desktop, the VDM Connection Server configures that virtual machine in relation to the associated desktop. If the virtual machine linked to the desktop is subsequently cloned, the connection server will not reconfigure the cloned virtual machine because it will appear to be correctly configured. This can result in the connection server incorrectly attempting to open a desktop session against the cloned virtual machine.
