Bluetooth Devices Are Shareable to the VMware VDM Session (1003779)

Details

In general, Bluetooth devices are shareable to the VMware VDM session, and devices attached via a Bluetooth adapter are usable in the guest. If the Bluetooth adapter has been purchased in a package with a keyboard or a mouse, it might report itself as a Human Interface Device (HID) to the USB system.

Solution

In this case, the Bluetooth devices will not appear in the device list, because HIDs are filtered out. Some of these devices will operate in two modes: one for the use of HIDs and one for a standard Bluetooth adapter.
