The ESX/ESXi host network adapter compatibility

This article provides the link to the VMware Compatibility Guide.

ESX/ESXi hosts identify a hardware and load the associated driver only if the hardware is listed in the hardware compatibility list.

To verify if your network adapter is supported, see the VMware Compatibility Guide for your version of ESX/ESXi.

Note: Network adapters that are not listed in the compatibility guide may or may not function properly and are not supported.
