Storage VMotion on Virtual Machine with I/O Intensive Workload May Result Incorrectly in a Timeout Error

Performing a Storage VMotion operation on a virtual machine running I/O intensive workloads may result in a timeout with the following error message:
 
Failed to reparent/commit disks (vim.timeout). In most cases the Storage VMotion operation succeeds and the error is erroneous.
