Dell Recovery Fails if a QLogic HBA is Installed on Host Machine (1003224)

Details

When the Dell Recovery CD is run on an ESX Server 3i Host machine that has a hardware iSCSI Qlogic HBA (qla405x or qla406x) installed and has LUNs configured, the recovery process fails and displays the following error message:

Solution

Disconnect the network cable connected to the Qlogic HBA, reboot (so that the configured LUNs are not seen on the host), and repeat the recovery process.
