Windows Guest Operating System Customization Fails on German Windows Operating Systems (1003125)

Guest operating system customization does not perform as expected even when Microsoft Sysprep files are provided under the default destination path:

C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\Anwendungsdaten\VMware\VMware VirtualCenter\sysprep\

Solution

Modify the destination path as follows:
C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\Application Data\VMware\VMware VirtualCenter\sysprep\
Note: 'Anwendungsdaten' is a hidden folder.
Extract the Sysprep files to the folders that are appropriate for your Windows guest operating system.
