Client-Side CD-ROM or Floppy Can Become Disconnected (1003118)
Details
If you select Power On in the VI client, the client-side CD-ROM or floppy disconnects. The virtual BIOS is now four times faster than before, and the time provided to connect the client-side CD-ROM or client-side floppy is much shorter than before.
Solution
Type Ctrl+Alt+Insert to do a soft reset inside the virtual machine to connect the virtual machine to the attached CD-ROM or floppy. A soft reset does not detach the client-side CD-ROM or floppy.
