An ESX Server 3i Host Cannot Accommodate Simultaneous VI Updates

Details

If you use two or more VI Update instances to update one ESX Server 3i host simultaneously, both updates fail.

Solution

Reboot the ESX Server 3i host and then use one instance of VI Update to update the ESX Server 3i host.
