Details

Data is not received at the output file connected to serial ports 3 and 4 in virtual machines with Fedora 7.0 (2.6.22 kernel) as the guest operating system using the default virtual machine configuration.

Solution

Enter the following commands in a terminal on the Fedora 7.0 (2.6.22 kernel) virtual machine:

setserial /dev/ttyS2 port 0x3e8 baud_base 115200 auto_irq autoconfig
setserial /dev/ttyS3 port 0x2e8 baud_base 115200 auto_irq autoconfig
