Automatic Upgrades Cannot Be Performed for VMware Tools on Virtual Machines Running NetWare

Details

You cannot perform an automatic VMware Tools upgrade for a virtual machine running the NetWare guest operating system, even though this option is available in the VI Client.

Solution

For virtual machines running the NetWare guest operating system, perform manual VMware Tools upgrades.
