Upgrading VMware Consolidated Backup Version 1.0.x to Version 1.1 Causes the Installer to Hang

Solution
To fix this problem, perform the following procedure:
- Exit the installer. If your VCB proxy system is frozen or locked, reboot the system.
- Uninstall Consolidated Backup version 1.0.2 or 1.0.3, by using Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.
- Install Consolidated Backup version 1.1.
