Required NetBackup Integration Module Components Installed on VCB Proxy

The minimum set of NetBackup components that need to be installed on the VCB proxy are the NetBackup Client and the Administrative Console. Having the Media Server installed on the VCB proxy as well gives you the benefit of LAN-free backups. If the Media Server is on a remote machine, however, NetBackup has to stream the data from the VCB proxy (where the NetBackup Client picks it up) to the Media Server across the LAN. The Administrative Console is required because VCB depends on NetBackup's bpplinclude command to obtain information about a backup job in the integration module (bpplinclude  is installed with the Administrative Console).
