Fusion menu bar interferes with the operating system menu bar
Details
In VMware Fusion, hovering the mouse cursor over the screen in full screen mode pops up the VMware Fusion menu bar and does not allow to access the operating system menu bar.
This happens with many flavors of the Linux.
Solution
Increase the size of the operating system menu bar.
To increase the size of the menu bar:
Right-click the operating system menu bar.
Click Properties.
Increase the size to 30 or more pixels.
Now, when the Fusion bar appears, you can still access the operating system menu bar.
