ESX Server 2.5.5: Pegasus CIM Listener Does Not Operate Correctly on Some IBM Servers While IBM Director 5.20 U1 Installs

I observed the messages under /var/log/messages while the installation of IBM Director 5.20 U1 was in progress.
The message log reported:

cimlistenerd: failed

What should I do?

Start cimlistenerd manually with the command:

service cimlistenerd start
