Test connection fails with error -1073738824 - The specified object is not found on the system
Details
When running a "test connection" from within the Capacity Planner Data Manager, the test fails on Performane Monitoring (Perfmon) with the following error:
The specified object is not found on the system (-1073738824)
Solution
Test connection may fail in some circumstances if the remote system is running a non-English version of Windows. Restarting the remote system may alleviate this issue. This problem only affects the Test Connection feature and not data collection.
