Shared Folders Might Not Appear for Ubuntu 6.04 Hosts with Windows Guests

Details

On a 64-bit Ubuntu 6.04 host and a Windows guest, you might not be able to see a shared folder on the guest.

Solution

On the guest, use Add/Remove Programs to remove VMware Tools and install VMware Tools again.
