Using Remote Desktop from a Guest to Connect to the Host Machine Freezes the Computer

Details

A problem occurs if you have remote desktop enabled on a Windows host and a Windows guest, and you attempt to use the Remote Desktop application in the guest to connect to the host. After you log into the host machine, the monitor goes into power-save mode (loses signal) and all mouse and keyboard functions cease on the host machine.

Solution

To resolve this issue, reset the host computer.
