Obtaining a license for VMware Converter Enterprise requires that you have an active and unexpired support-and-subscription (SnS) contract for either VMware VirtualCenter Management Server or VMware P2V Assistant.
If you have an active and unexpired SnS contract for either VMware VirtualCenter Management Server or VMware P2V Assistant, you should have received an email from VMware informing you about your eligibility for a VMware Converter Enterprise license (at no additional cost) and how to go about obtaining it.
Note: If you have not received any email communication from VMware regarding your VMware Converter Enterprise license, in spite of having an active and unexpired SnS contract for either VMware VirtualCenter Management Server or VMware P2V Assistant, please log in to the VMware Product License portal at http://www.vmware.com/licensemgmt to confirm that your VMware Converter Enterprise licenses do not appear under My Product Licenses before contacting Customer Support.
If you do not have an active and unexpired SnS contract for either VMware VirtualCenter Management Server or VMware P2V Assistant, and would like to obtain a license for VMware Converter Enterprise, please contact VMware Sales to purchase a license for VMware VirtualCenter Management Server.
For additional licensing-related questions, see the VMware Converter FAQ.
