VMware View Client for iPad support (1035937)


This article provides guidance on how to proceed if you experience problems related to the VMware View Client for iPad.


Determine if the problem is a iPad Client issue. Use a regular VMware View Client on a Windows Computer to verify that the symptom is not reproducible on the standard View Client.

If you are able to reproduce the issue with a standard View Client, search the Knowledge Base for your symptoms.

If you are not able to reproduce the issue with a standard View Client, the issue is related to the iPad client.
Support for the VMware View Client for iPad is included in Basic and Production support contracts sold with VMware View. Only Support Administrators listed on a Basic or Production support contract for VMware View can log a service request with VMware Technical Support if they encounter a technical issue with the VMware View Client for iPad. If you are an individual user of the VMware View Client for iPad, contact your internal IT help desk or visit the VMware community forums.
