Resolving VMware Community Forum issues

Symptoms

  • You cannot log in to the VMware Community forums.
  • You see an invalid user name or password message.
  • You have registered with an invalid email address.
  • You cannot reset the password.
  • You have multiple user IDs tied to an email address.
  • You cannot create a post.

Resolution

If you are having issues on the VMware Community, send  an email to Community_mgr@vmware.com with the following information:
  • Full name
  • Email address
  • A description of the problem, including any errors that you see

Note: The response time for VMware Community issues is 5 business days.

For example:
  • If you are unable to login, provide the email address used to login and the error message received.
  • If you want to change the registered email address, provide the current email address and the new email address.
  • If you are unable to post a topic in the VMware Community, provide your email address and the error message you receive when you try to create a post.
  • If you are unable to reset the password, provide the email address you are using to login and the error message you receive while resetting the password.
