Resolving VMware Community Forum issues
Symptoms
- You cannot log in to the VMware Community forums.
- You see an invalid user name or password message.
- You have registered with an invalid email address.
- You cannot reset the password.
- You have multiple user IDs tied to an email address.
- You cannot create a post.
Resolution
If you are having issues on the VMware Community, send an email to Community_mgr@vmware.com with the following information:
- Full name
- Email address
- A description of the problem, including any errors that you see
Note: The response time for VMware Community issues is 5 business days.
For example:

If you are unable to login, provide the email address used to login and the error message received.

If you want to change the registered email address, provide the current email address and the new email address.

If you are unable to post a topic in the VMware Community, provide your email address and the error message you receive when you try to create a post.

If you are unable to reset the password, provide the email address you are using to login and the error message you receive while resetting the password.
