Read-Only NFS Datastore Doesn't Allow Browsing for ISO Images

I'm trying to install a guest operating system from an ISO file
on an NFS datastore, but can't see any ISO files when I browse the
datastore. Why not?
Solution
You probably checked the read-only check box when you created
the NFS datastore. If you did, you are not able to see or use any
ISO files when trying to connect the virtual CD-ROM device to an
ISO file on the datastore.
To resolve this issue, clear the read-only box for the NFS
datastore. You can then see and execute the files from the
ISO.
