During certain SAN events, such as Array Storage Processor reset, MSCS clustering can trigger an unnecessary failover to the secondary (backup) server in the cluster. This can occur during an array storage processor failover, when it goes offline, or during a reset of either one of the storage processors. This failover occurs if the array causes a delay in I/O on all storage processors, including the redundant path for over 60 seconds. This problem has not been observed in any other arrays.
