Not All Network Adapters Are Detected During Installation if One or More NetXen 10 Gigabit Ethernet NIC Card Is Present

Details

If a NetXen 10 Gigabit Ethernet NIC card is present during a fresh ESX Server installation from CD, not all network adapters appear on the Network Configuration page of the installation wizard.

Solution

Install ESX Server with the NetXen 10 Gigabit adapters removed. Install the NetXen 10 Gigabit adapter after you install ESX Server.
